Le prestigieux prix littéraire britannique, remis tous les deux ans, a annoncé jeudi 10 mars, sa sélection de treize noms en vue de récompenser un auteur pour l'ensemble de son oeuvre. Parmi les treize auteurs, deux françaises, Maylis de Kérangal (éditée chez Gallimard) et Marie N'Diaye (éditée chez Verticales, filiale de Gallimard) et un congolais francophone Fiston Mwanza Mujila. La deuxième sélection - de six titres - sera annoncée le14 avril et le lauréat proclamé le 16 mai. L'écrivian et son traducteur recevront chacun 25 000 livres.
